Gotye To Perform On Letterman

Gotye becomes the latest Australian act to score what is considered the most influential late night TV spot for bands in the US - a performance on Late Show With David Letterman. The Temper Trap performed on Letterman earlier this year

Although Letterman's CBS show rates lower than Jay Leno's on NBC, Letterman's three million viewers are considered a younger music-buying demographic.

Gotye's appearance takes place next Monday night (US time) and will screen here on the Ten Network 11.30pm, Tuesday 25 September.

Music acts you can catch on this week's Letterman on Ten (11.30pm-ish week nights) includeThe Killers on Thursday and Band Of Horses on Friday.

Other US late night shows screening here will feature a variety of acts over the coming week. Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on Comedy Channel (11pm, weeknights) has scheduled Nelly Furtado on Wednesday and The Avett Brothers on Thursday.

Conan, now on on Go (11.30pm-ish Wed - Sat), features Frank Turner this Saturday while The Daily Show on Comedy Channel (7pm weeknights) features Pink on Thursday. Chelsea Lately on E! (10.30pm weeknights) will feature fun. on Tuesday.

And, tonight on UKTV's Never Mind The Buzzcocks (8.30pm Mondays) you can witness Tinchy Stryder and KT Tunstall amongst the music quiz show's panellists.
