Jacob Butler, Timothy Nelson, Kate Vigo and Hunting Grounds are among the names recognised in this year's competition.
Plenty of Aussie names have made the winners lists as the results of this year's Unsigned Only Songwriting Competition were unveiled.
While this year's Grand Prize was taken out by San Francsican Lara Johnston, there was Aussies littered all across the rest of the results.
Melbourne's Jacob Butler won the AAA category, fellow Melburnians Skipping Girl Vinegar and Albury's Lee'Mon picking up Honourable Mentions in that same category. Also from Melbourne, Kate Vigo took out second place in the Adult Contemporary category, which Worldfly from Darwin were given an Honourable Mention.
Perth's Timothy Nelson & The Infidels won the Folk/Singer-Songwriter category in this year's awards, with Sydney's Luke O'Shea picking up an Honourable Mention. The final artist to place was Sydney's Liam Burrows, who scored second place in the Vocal Performance category, in which Anna Weatherup, also of Sydney, scored an Honourable Mention; Weatherup also picked up a mention in the Christian category.

Adam Katz and Radio INK – both from Sydney – picked up Honourable Mentions in the Pop category, while Ballarat's Hunting Grounds and Sydney's Stone Parade got them in the Rock section of the awards.

This year's judges included Cyndi Lauper, Kenny Rogers, Charlie Daniels, Manchester Orchestra, Robert Smith (The Cure), Kelly Clarkson, Musiq Soulchild, G. Love, Matt and Kim, St. Vincent, The Mountain Goats and more.
While the Grand Prize winner picks up a nifty $5000 in cash, winners in each category are given a series of prizes including social media management and marketing services, in-ear monitor systems and capos.
