New Bob Dylan Record In September

17 July 2012 | 2:19 pm | Dan Condon

Tempest is Dylan's way of celebrating 50 years as a recording artist.

More Bob Dylan More Bob Dylan

The one and only Bob Dylan is celebrating his 50th year as a recording artist in 2012 and the still very active musician is contributing a new record with ten brand new songs to the celebrations; it is called Tempest and it will be released in Australia through Sony Music on Friday 7 September.

This is Dylan's 35th solo record and if his most recent records are anything to go by, it's one that is definitely worth looking forward to. In 2009 Together Through Life showed that he still has the talent and the following to remain relevant in the modern era and given that he is among the most influential musicians in history, there will be plenty of people who are very keen to hear this record.

The "Jack Frost" produced record is available for pre-order through retailers and online now. Tracklist and cover art is below; stay tuned for more information on the release as it comes to hand.
