Missy Higgins To Play For Leno; Refused On Fallon

Missy Higgins is the latest local artist to score a performance spot on a high profile US late night talk show.

In the US to promote her recently number one Australian album The Ol' Razzle Dazzle, Higgins will play the closing spot on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno this coming Friday. The show, an American institution, no longer screens here.

However reformed Swedish hardcore outfit Refused do appear on a US talk show screened here. They will appear on the Thursday night edition of Late Night With Jimmy Fallon (Comedy Channel, weeknights 11pm). Wednesday's edition has Best Coast scheduled to perform while Friday will feature Hot Chip.

Late Show With David Letterman (Ten, weeknights 11.30pm or later) this week features performances from Nas on Tuesday and Jeff The Brotherhood on Wednsday.

Nas will also appear on The Colbert Report on Wednesday (Comedy Channel weeknights 7pm).

If you're at home tonight you can catch Van She guest programming ABC1's rage next week will feature The Bamboos.
