More Bloc Party More Bloc Party

Splendour In The Grass-bound Bloc Party have announced a one-off warm-up show for the festival in Brisbane at the end of the month, with the band set to take to The Zoo Friday 27 July.

The indie pioneers are returning with their new album, titled Four, set to be released Friday 20 August. The first single of which, Octopus, was dropped earlier this week.

Tickets to the Brisbane show will be in high demand and are only available through the Bloc Party and Secret Service mailing lists. To get the ticket information, you'll have to sign up to the list here before 9am Monday 16 July.

It's not the first time Bloc Party have played a gig prior to Splendour, in 2009 they played a secret show at the Great Northern. The Pixies also played a warm-up show at The Zoo before their Splendour appearence at 2010.
