Huge local line up enlisted to celebrate the 11th edition of the Perth festival.

The full line up for this year's Rock It festival has been announced this morning, with 13 of the country's most in demand bands joining the previously announced headliners The Black Keys on this year's bill, the 11th presented in the WA capital.

What's the return of Rock It gonna sound like?

Perth is very strongly represented on this year's bill with some of the biggest acts to ever emerge from the city showcased on the line up. John Butler Trio, Birds Of Tokyo and The Panics lead the new names announced, with interstaters Lanie Lane and Last Dinosaurs and fast rising local favourites San Cisco and Abbe May leading the main part of the line up.

Also part of the festival this year is Kong's Rock and Roll Shack which will showcase some of the country's best gritty rock'n'roll bands including Royal Headache, Graveyard Train, Brothers Grim, The Toot Toot Toots and locals Kill Devil Hills and Emperors.

The festival takes place at Arena Joondalup on Sunday 28 October. It's open to all ages and tickets are on sale to the public from Friday 6 July onwards.
