Gotye has indeed lost top spot to Carly Rae Jepsen.
In a week that has seen Gotye lose his top spot in the Billboard Hot 100 chart to Carly Rae Jepsen, The Temper Trap and Knife Party have entered the Billboard 200 album chart.
As we reported yesterday, the release of this week's charts today has seen Somebody That I Used To Know slip to the second spot on the Hot 100, as Jepsen's Call Me Maybe is boosted by strong digital sales. Gotye is still topping things in the radio stakes, but after eight weeks at the summit has succumbed to Jepsen's phenomenal online presence.
Also in the Hot 100 is Sia, whose track with Flo Rida, Wild Ones, remains at seven and Titanium, her track with David Guetta, continues its rise to 18, from 21 last week.
Havana Brown's We Run The Night, featuring Pitbull, peaked at 49 last week and may have run its course as it drops to 53 this week.
