Father John Misty contemplates a missionary position

Former Fleet Foxes drummer Joshua Tillman has been reborn as Father John Misty and is headed this way to convert the crowds at Splendour In The Grass.

 Now he's spreading the good word of his Fear Fun album with sideshows in NSW and Victoria.

Tickets for all the literate songsmith's stand-alone gigs go on sale 9am, Friday 4 May.

Father Misty will enlighten the masses on the following evenings:

Friday 27 July - Oxford Art Factory, Sydney

Saturday 28 July - Corner, Melbourne
