Once presumed dead, The Darkness have not only reformed but are heading out to Australia for the first time in four years next month!

More The Darkness More The Darkness

There's been a lot of excitement surrounding The Darkness becoming an active band again in recent times, excitement which really ramped up in Australia last week when it was announced that the band would be making their way to Australia for the first time in four years. The band should have a new record out by the end of 2012 and it looks as if Australian audiences will get a special taste of it, as well as a nice selection of their most well known material when they make their way out here next month, dropping by the Eatons Hill Hotel in Brisbane on Friday 4 May with Nine Sons Of Dan, Newcastle Panthers Saturday 5 and UNSW Roundhouse both with Voodoo Sons, Melbourne's The Palace Tuesday 8 with Baptisms Of Uzi and Canberra's ANU Bar Thursday 10 with Fun Machine.  You can get tickets right now for $72 + bf.
