Seminal '60s Britrockers The Troggs have announced they'll be heading down under to mark their 50th anniversary this year on an expansive east coast tour.

The quartet will be bringing along all their career highlights and best known tracks including 1966 hit Wild Thing, I Can't Control Myself, Love Is All Around and many more, many of which inspired a whole generation of garage and punk rockers in the '80s and '90s.

Though original members Ronnie Bond and Reg Presley passed away in 1992 and 2013 respectively, original lead guitarist Chris Britton is still in the band and will be leading the night's nostalgia.

The Troggs kick off their tour on 3 November in Hervey Bay, one of 13 dates that end in Melbourne on 26 November.
