360 Makes Week's Highest ARIA Chart Debut At #3 With New Album 'Vintage Modern'

Acclaimed Australian rapper 360 has made an impressively strong entry on the ARIA Albums Chart with his eagerly received new fulll-length, Vintage Modern, taking the week's highest debut at #3.

Despite the surge of momentum behind the local artist, US pop fave P!nk remains atop the pile with Beautiful Trauma staying at #1 for its third week, while Ed Sheeran's unkillable ÷ (Divide) actually rises a rung to #2 in its 35th.

Former One Direction-er Niall Horan slides down a couple of spots to #4 with his album Flicker, and — disappointingly, it must be said — convicted domestic abuser Chris Brown lands at #5 with Heartbreak On A Full Moon.

Pop veterans Kelly Clarkson and Hanson both put in strong performances on debut this week too, with their respective albums Meaning Of Life and Finally It's Christmas earning entries at #6 and #7.

There's a bit of a stretch between new faces from there, with the next-highest fresh entry coming from Aussie outfit Ne Obliviscaris, whose Urn makes a not-unimpressive debut at #35, a couple of rungs above Ty Dolla $ign's Beach House 3, which steps out at #37.

Also new this week are albums from Yelawolf (Trial By Fire, #41), Hollywood Undead (Five, #42), Gregory Porter (Nat King Cole & Me, #54), 21 Savage, Offest & Metro Boomin (Without Warning, #57), Weezer (Pacific Daydream, #67), The Used (The Canyon, #69), The Wiggles (Wiggly, Wiggly Christmas!, #95) and Stereophonics (Scream Above The Sounds, #99).

Nostalgia seems to be as powerful a force as ever, too, with big jumps afoot for several classic acts, including Fleetwood Mac (The Very Best Of Fleetwood Mac, up 40 places to #22), Jimmy Barnes (For The Working Class Man, up 18 places to #23), George Michael (Ladies & Gentlemen… The Best Of…, up 13 places to #29), The Eagles (The Very Best Of The Eagles, up 61 places to #32) and the Red Hot Chili Peppers (Greatest Hits, up 13 places to #39).

There's less movement in the Singles stakes, where the highest debut comes from Selena Gomez & Marshmello's Wolves — despite its hilarious cover art — which lands at #15; their nearest fellow new face is down at #65, where Clean Bandit's I Miss You (ft Julia Michaels) enters at #65.

On the local front, PNAU's new cut Go Bang steps out at #81, while 360's Way Out scrapes in at #95.

Down the pointy end, though, it's all the same as it was last week: Post Malone's Rockstar (ft 21 Savage) remains at #1 for a seventh week, trailed by Camila Cabello's Havana (ft Young Thug) at #2, Ed Sheeran's Perfect at #3, Khalid's Young Dumb & Broke at #4, and Portugal. The Man's Feel It Still at #5.
