PREMIERE: Kings Of Cough Syrup - Take Me Out

Having honed their crafts in the music industry individually, Melbourne mates Hamish and Nick have come together to form Kings Of Cough Syrup, today premiering their single, Take Me Out, with us at theMusic.com.au.

Hamish explains, "Nick was the first person I shared music with; before Nick, there was only me in a bedroom, fumbling a few chords on one of my dad’s guitars. We would have only been 13 or 14 years old; even then Nick, as he has always done, and continues to do, brought a uniting vision," while Nick says, "The roles we learnt as teens are still in our nature. Hamish singing and me jangling along, proudly standing beside his stupendous voice."

You may well already recognise Hamish's dulcet tones in this dreamy song, but best we leave it up to you to pinpoint where exactly it's from.

Kings Of Cough Syrup will be releasing their self-titled EP on 21 April.
