Brisbane-based electronic duo Capre have been busy these past few months both as performers and recording artists, gracing the stage at April's recent Arcadia festival as well as finding time to put together addictive new single Give, proudly premiering on The Music today.

Capre — individually Patrick Costello and Patrick Hameon — hit Sydney's renowned Studio 301 to record the new track, calling on the help of seasoned producer Jack Prest to milk the most out of the pair's luscious, layered soundscapes. Give itself carries a deep groove, straddling the realms of electronic music and hip hop as it throws out smooth melodies, infectious bass, glitch-flecked diversions and floating atmospheric effects.

It's an incredibly well developed song, flowing from one passage to the next with breeziness and ease, and will no doubt form part of the pair's set when they hit The Triffid in Brisbane tonight as part of the line-up for the second Young Blood night, also featuring Georgia Mae and Quintessential Doll.
