PREMIERE: Suzannah Espie - I'm Sorry

Melbourne country songstress Suzannah Espie plays a haunting blend soul, blues and country and prior to releasing her first single, I'm Sorry, tomorrow from her upcoming album Mother's Not Feeling Herself Today, has offered theMusic.com.au the exclusive stream of the song.

The moving song is a very intimate look at the feelings of failure often experienced by a mother, exemplified by the shiver-inducing voices of the 13 women choir Espie enlisted for the song, many of whom are mothers themselves.

The lyrics are said to be inspired by authors Clare Wright and Rachel Power, confirming that "the conflict between art and motherhood was a subject worth recognising" for Espie.

Mother's Not Feeling Herself Today is out on 4 September and will follow Espie's 2012 album, Sea Of Lights, which won her many accolades.
