Jasmine Rae is a triple ARIA-nominated country singer/songwriter, gearing up to release her fourth full-length, Heartbeat. Ahead of her official album release this Friday, theMusic.com.au is premiering her new record exclusively on our website.
Recorded by Grammy-winning producer Luke Wooten in Nashville, the US's country music capital, the Melburnian has also earned herself CMC's 2014 Female Oz Artist of the Year and four Golden Guitar awards.
Rae's lead single from the album, Heartbeat, was penned by herself, Jason Massey and Josh Kerr and is said to be about "breaking through the noise".
Rae says, "I sometimes find that I lose the balance between listening to advice and listening to my own thoughts and that puts me on the road to doubt myself. But there’s always going to be one person who disagrees, because we’re all different and that’s a good thing".
