More Young Lions More Young Lions

Brisbane-based five-piece Young Lions have just released Blue Isla, the eagerly awaited follow-up to their 2013 debut full-length Burn, and as the band make preparations to head out on the road in support of the new work and its lead single When Will We Be Free?, we're thrilled to be hosting a full stream of the album ahead of their impending sojourn.

The band spent much of the period between releases sharpening up their live show, nabbing a support slot with US heavyweights The Almost and Aussie mainstays Antiskeptic, as well as appearing alongside the diverse, esteemed likes of Senses Fail, Dream On Dreamer, Oh Sleeper, Adept, Dead Letter Circus, Jebediah, Lydia and Feed Her To The Sharks. Little wonder, then, that the dawn of 2015 finds them with a burgeoning fan base and the country's roads at their feet.

"Blue Isla is a huge step for us," bassist Morgan Castle said of the album in a statement. "The record is one of beauty and maturity. Everything you've come to love about Young lions — passion, truth, relevancy — it's in this record. We've matured a lot and so has our music."

You don't just have to take Castle's word for it, though — get amongst the full stream of the album and cast your eyes over the band's impending tour dates and locations to suss where you can catch them in the flesh in the near future.
