Renowned US troubadour Justin Townes Earle will be gracing our shores this October, and his newest full-length, Single Mothers, gets released on Friday, September 5 — so what's a fan to do to pass the time until then?

Although you won't be able to hold it in your hands for another week, you can help yourself to the sublime strains of JTE's latest set of songs right now, including delightful recent single Time Shows Fools, and start enjoying Earle's first new work in two-and-a-half years.

The album comprises ten tracks, though Aussies are especially lucky in that our CD, digital and vinyl editions of the album all include a bonus live acoustic version of White Gardenias, which is a nice little extra nod from a man with whom Australians have enjoyed a long and storied musical romance.

Justin Townes Earle, and his full live band, touches down at Perth’s Astor Theatre on Friday, October 11, before rolling through Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne and Meeniyan. He'll finish up at The Tivoli, in Brisbane, on Wednesday, October 22. See the Gig Guide or The Music App for more information.
