"If there's one thing this proves, it's that The Delta Riggs aren't predictable."

More The Delta Riggs More The Delta Riggs

The Vanns kicked off tonight's proceedings with a dose of energy and Aussie alt-pop. They lapped up the attention given by the primarily underage audience up front, particularly during fun, brisk, bluesy tune I'm Not The One

Meanwhile, Gideon Bensen had a slightly different reaction to the underage crowd, telling them to take it down a notch, as they were even getting a bit rowdy during slow burner Shame. Between the kids cramping his sultry style, and unclear sound throughout his set, this wasn't Bensen’s best performance (having seen him multiple times before). Nonetheless, there’s no denying this guy has got talent as his vocals switched between dulcet tones and biting screeches effortlessly, as he ended on funky tune Cold Cold Heart

Whoever said the '70s are dead needs to notify The Delta Riggs. Melding funky disco with pulsing rock and a touch of punk and rap, these boys know how to party like it's 1977.

They launched into their set and it wasn't long before they cracked out classic tunes The Record's Flawed and It’s Over. They were met with a crowd willing to give back the energy and cheek they were throwing out.

Framed by a intergalactic backdrop and brightly coloured lights, new tracks Surgery Of Love and crowd favourite Supersonic Casualties went down a treat. Special mention to Never Seen This Before - God that is a funky tune, and everyone damn knew it as they busted a move under the disco-esque lights.

We got a second dose of Gideon Bensen, coming out to play a limited edition collab track with The Delta Riggs. Followed bizarrely by a rapper waltzing onto stage to spit some rhymes before an encore of DELTA Jam. If there's one thing this proves, it's that The Delta Riggs aren't predictable.
