"'Every Valley' fails to capture the widescreen grandeur of their last album 'The Race For Space.'"

More Public Service Broadcasting More Public Service Broadcasting

Does Tony Abbott have a friend in Public Service Broadcasting?

You might think so given that People Will Always Need Coal is a track title here. Deeper reading though reveals Every Valley to be a politically neutral concept album that musically documents the rise and decline of the once mighty Welsh mining industry. Despite a number of guest vocalists, not least James Dean Bradfield of the Manic Street Preachers, and the undoubted breadth of Public Service Broadcasting's creativity, Every Valley fails to capture the widescreen grandeur of their last album The Race For Space.
