Album Review: Noga Erez - Off The Radar

A significant talent with a rare vantage point, Off The Radar is the radical new album from Israeli producer Noga Erez.

Expounding on these of inherited power, sexual victimisation and inner conflict, Erez has demonstrated that she's willing to stand up to those who would otherwise silence her, particularly on the unusually danceable protest song Dance While You Shoot. Her mutant vision of R&B has been compared to other all-rounders MIA and Grimes, but it should be recognised that a genuinely new voice has arrived, one that's unafraid of confrontation.
