"Packed to its peak with wavy guitars and deeply soulful vocals."

The album's title track sets the psychedelic tone for the rest of this body of work - packed to its peak with wavy guitars and deeply soulful vocals.

These contrasts make for a consistently engaging listen. The quick falsetto appearances are killer, especially in Bet She Looks Like You. Cuffed is a spiral into a frenzy of winding guitar melodies, eventually sinking back into a slow burning outro. Boasting a fantastic balance between live and electronic instrumentation, Hakim creates a colourful soundscape, with variation in tone and texture, specifically in the subtle vocal layering and crisp harmonies. This album borrows stylistic qualities from a range of genres, and blankets it all in warm reverb.
