Album Review: Strangers - Mirrorland

"An album that rocks hard."

More Strangers More Strangers

This Aussie four-piece has been around for quite some time, and they've finally got around to unleashing their second LP.

And it's a cracker. Not only have they slammed out ten excellent, dark, hard-hitting alt-rock tunes, they have managed to infuse the album with a very welcome sense of variation, too. This is beautifully illustrated by the first two tracks: the pounding, slow-burning opener God Is In My Head, which gives way to the vibey, up-tempo Birthmarks.

But this diversity is everywhere across the length and breadth of the record. Mirrorland is an album that rocks hard and maintains the listener's interest from go to whoa.
