Album Review: Soulwax - From Deewee

After last year's soundtrack to Belgica, Soulwax are back with a new album. 

While brothers David and Stephen Dewaele have not been especially prolific, this seems to signal a period of renewed creativity. Inspired by touring, Soulwax took the live set-up back to their Deewee studio and recorded these new songs in a day, all in just one take. Predictably this is a whooping blast of indie dance that gives much-loved electro and kosmische influences a decent rock workout with plenty of bounce in some amazing beats. It all suggests some amazing tour dates ahead.
