"Insular soundscapes awash with extraterrestrial sounds."

Broadcast were one of those bands whose due credit only came after sudden tragedy.

Children Of Alice is the debut release of sole surviving member James Cargill together with long-time Broadcast collaborators Roj Stevens and Julian House. Solely comprised of insular soundscapes awash with extraterrestrial sounds, eerie drones and hard to identify percussion, it could be the soundtrack to some long lost episode of The Twilight Zone as each track journeys indistinguishably into the next. It's adventurous, but lacks the distinctive character of Broadcast's timeless songs.
