"An amalgamation of funkified textures and gritty R&B soul."

Put simply, Yes Lawd! is an amalgamation of funkified textures and gritty R&B soul that appeals to what every hip hop head loves: rawness.

In this 18-track cache, producer Knxwledge provides his iconoclast bump-n-groove beats, while vocalist Anderson .Paak croons coolly through soul and rap cuts. However, the appeal of this record doesn't lie in its glossy production, but the way in which it moves like a true west coast mixtape. As What More Can I Say nods to clear Madlib influences, and as HAN shouts hood asides, it's the stone-cold steeze that makes Yes Lawd! steadfast on denting the game.
