Album Review: The 1975 - I Like It When You Sleep For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It

"The album has a few okay tracks while the rest are boring."

More The 1975 More The 1975

Out with the black, in with the pink; British lads The 1975 are back with an ambitious 17-track pop rock record.

Somebody Else and The Sound are funky and fun, all '80s funk rock with a hint of pop; while Please Be Naked is a beautiful instrumental piano track that has strange sounds intertwined within. Single Love Me has the guitars rocking a new signature melody that stands out from the rest of the tracks, with Matthew Healy's dreamy vocals the focal point. In all honesty, the album has a few okay tracks while the rest are boring — probably why they like it when you sleep.
