She couples a natural ease and clarity in writing with a sound of modern Americana. The title track builds, adding vocals and sonic layers as she nonchalantly assures us, "I'll be fine, fine." Daughters is no-BS girl power and guitars. Ojai is a nostalgic closer. Albums on this theme have been made before, but here is a refreshing and liberating update.
