Album Review: Birds Of Tokyo - Playlist

After a touch over ten years together and Christmas right around the corner, Birds Of Tokyo have rolled out Playlist… A Singles Collection. 

It's a compilation of their singles stemming from latest release I'd Go With You Anywhere — which hits hard on the emotional rock anthem scale we've come to relate to with Birds Of Tokyo — and rolling backwards to the 2005 WAMi winner Stay. It's an interesting retrospect to see the slightly more unhinged rock origins of the band evolving into the radio heavies we hear today and there is no denying that they write a fine single.
