Album Review: Avicii - Stories

Avicii continues to satisfy a global need for unchallenging pop-EDM which causes a perfect storm of irritation to anyone who filters the music they put into their bodies like good and bad foods.

Tim Bergling's second long'un plays it far too safely to be either truly nauseating or guilty pleasuringly ear-wormable. Touch Me goes for the Chicago house jugular amiably enough but guest spots from Matisyahu and Chris Martin are unremarkable. Never a truer word is said than in Trouble: "I may not be the best but I'm far from the worst".
