"Sadly they've delivered a tedious and joyless one."

More Bon Jovi More Bon Jovi

After three decades in the business you'd expect a phenomenal album from Bon Jovi, but sadly they've delivered a tedious and joyless one.

Blind Love is a slow, beautiful ballad while I'm Your Man sounds a little old-school. Saturday Night Gave Me Sunday Morning and Life Is Beautiful are the only truly upbeat and cheerful cuts compared to the rest of the album. Burning Bridges is dedicated to Bon Jovi's long-time record label, Mercury Records, from which he's split after 32 years. This album is full of engaging lyrics and anger, but hopefully the next record will be better.
