"Completely devoid of any blood, sweat or heart, unless you’re a moody 13-year-old whose parents just don’t get it."

Epitaph Records have obviously invested heavily in a computer that writes pristine melodies devoid of all humanity or personality.

Because there’s no reason for them to release an album like Battles, unless it’s to get their money’s worth from the Angst-O-Matic 5,000. Beautiful Bodies are polished and professional, and their output meets the definition of music. It just does it while being completely devoid of any blood, sweat or heart, unless you’re a moody 13-year-old whose parents just don’t get it. In which case, this will totally be your favourite album for, like, upwards of several weeks.
