Musgraves smashes it with Pageant Material.

Following a double-Grammy-winning major label debut is tough work, but Musgraves makes it look easy with an album that’s country to the core, packed with acoustics, pedal steels, finger-picked banjos and some wonderful melodies. Her lyrics set her apart, though. They’re full of wit and wisdom, like catchy single, Biscuits, and Cup Of Tea, or with gorgeous images and heartfelt tales like Dime Store Cowgirl and Late To The Party. One of the year’s best albums for sure.
