In their case it went over time from fairly straight-up hard rock to an altogether darker and more claustrophobic beast. Set skews toward their more recent work — things like Fire Walker and Some Kind Of Ghost suitably moody and sludgy, while the cover of The Call’s 1989 piece, Let The Day Begin — dedicated to bassist Robert Levon Been’s late father — is a suitably anthemic animal howl.
