"Blanck Mass is not so much ahead of the competition as existing in a different galaxy to it."

More Blanck Mass More Blanck Mass

Building on the celestial wonder of 2011’s self-titled debut, Benjamin John Power (50% of popular noise boffins Fuck Buttons) unleashes a dynamic and surprisingly dancefloor-friendly statement.

The power tones and almost guitar-like distortion on tracks likes Detritus are simply unlike anything else you’re likely to hear this year, while the disorienting backward vocal loops of Double Cross should be bizarrely euphoric for progressively-minded ravers. Blanck Mass is not so much ahead of the competition as existing in a different galaxy to it.
