More Summer Camp More Summer Camp

Care for some saccharine with your teen pop? In the best possible way, of course.

If so, then add a dash of Summer Camp to your pop playlist. Full of fun synth lines, a reliable back-beat and Elizabeth Sankey’s and Jeremy Warmsley’s catchy vocals, the pair wear their influences on their sleeves and the results are a collection of 11 tracks sure to please. The mid-‘00s Nordic pop sound of Shout Out Louds and The Raveonettes are evident everywhere you look, and although Bad Love isn’t as well-produced as their layered sounds, it’s enjoyable nonetheless.
