"Big issues remain on the agenda, the angst is as visceral as ever"

More Anti-Flag More Anti-Flag

Punk rockers who’ve never been scared of a catchy, even poppy melody, Anti-Flag have been in the trenches for over 20 years now, and with that much experience comes inevitable polish to their songwriting.

But American Spring is proof that polish doesn’t have to smooth over the edges. Big issues remain on the agenda, the angst is as visceral as ever, and Anti-Flag’s ability to wrap it all up in fist-pumping, circle-pitting energy is as potent as any band half their age. American Spring is Anti-Flag embracing their elder statesmanship, while refusing to growing stale.
