"'Skydancer' was written as the masculine counterpoint to the feminine nature of 'Earthwalker'"

More In Hearts Wake More In Hearts Wake

In the immortal words of Samuel L Jackson, “Hold onto your butts.”

Byron Bay’s most successful hardcore act are back with the second chapter of their Earthwalker/Skydancer story. Recorded – ambitiously – at the same time as last year’s critically- and commercially-acclaimed Earthwalker, Skydancer was written as the masculine counterpoint to the feminine nature of Earthwalker. Listened to in isolation, however, it’s an impressive and intimidating record that remains flexible and fluid. Even within individual songs there’s never any stagnation, proving Earthwalker was no flash in the pan and that In Hearts Wake are the real deal.
