"Quietly brilliant."

More BC Camplight More BC Camplight

Despite critical acclaim for 2005’s Hide, Run Away and 2007’s Blink OF A Nihilist, BC Camplight (Brian Christinzio) dropped off the radar reportedly in a Sideways-inspired heap.

Skip to the present and following a recent relocation to Manchester from America, How To Die… marks a triumphant return that combines the moroseness of Murray Lightburn with the orchestral arrangements of Brian Wilson. Brimming with ideas of heartache and redemption, it’s a deftly produced affair despite its lo-fi production and maintains a lyrical indifference. Quietly brilliant.
