It’s a breath of fresh air.

Ain’t It Time is an appropriate title - Rainy Day Women’s debut LP contains songs that are months and years old, yet the breezy, indie-pop vibe remains solid throughout.

Opener, Mars, sets the tone with pretty harmonies and uplifting melodies. Second track and hit single, Friends, is definitely one of the most infectious tracks on a catchy record, but Girl slows everything right down as Dylan Ollivierre croons longingly. A wonderfully cruisy album and with so many artists trying to cram so much into their music these days, it’s a breath of fresh air.
