It’s made for parties and nothing else.

Onelove have come out with a new compilation to blast in your ute.

The first disc gathers notable house and deep house tunes from the past year. There’s plenty of highlights to be found, including contributions from a few Australian artists; Flight Facilities and Grum close the first side with an upbeat, funky touch. The second disc is less pleasant. Its EDM and big room songs are incapacitating in their repetitiveness, bursting with all the contrived spontaneity of music made through computer software. The most exciting moments are quickly flattened by the sheer monotony of this music. It’s made for parties and nothing else.
