You’ll be lost in reverie ‘til at least the penultimate track.

Baraboo, Wisconsin – a small American circus town and the burrow for this particular PHOX. Comprised of six old high school friends who never managed to leave home, PHOX bring a sweet dash of soul to an indie-pop sound. Recorded in Justin Vernon's home studio, PHOX's self-titled album is a melodic array of pleasant tracks dancing around vocalist Monica Martin's exquisite voice. Calico Man is a slow burner, a strange choice for an opener, but should you find yourself waning, skip ahead to first single Slow Motion and you'll be lost in reverie 'til at least the penultimate track.
