Perth four-piece New Talk, formerly known as Rag 'n' Bone, are taking their first step under their new moniker with the evocative new video for their single Red Tuesday,  premiering exclusively on theMusic.com.au.

Filmed with one sweeping shot in a flooded basement underneath Kakulas Sister Grocer in Fremantle, the clip is swathed in red and purple light, pulsating in time with the enthralling music.

"We wanted to capture not only the vast space of the song but the intimacy and intensity of how we perform it live," said the band.

The song was inspired by the horrific bushfires that swept through South Gippsland in Victoria at the turn of the 20th century, a theme that is articulated by Luna Laure of Via Luna Pictures masterful direction.

"A one-shot video meant everything had to be timed to perfection including beautifully programmed lighting detail by Ross Metcalf," said New Talk.

The single is the first new music fans have gotten from the outfit since they changed their name to halt the rising confusion between them and UK artist Rag 'n' Bone Man.
