Have you played many boutique festivals like Sunlit Sounds before? No, this will be Port Royal's first boutique festival.

Are you going to get your hands on any of the food trucks on offer? If so, what do you have a hankering for? Absolutely! Depends what type of food trucks are around. To be honest, there aren't many types of food that the Port Royal boys will refuse.

Will you be checking out any of the markets, or other acts? For sure. The line-up has some great local talent involved and markets are always great fun for picking up little bits and pieces.

Do you tend to buy your produce from Farmers' Markets? Why/why not? I guess it just depends on the variety. Obviously the farmer's market is going to be high quality so it will be interesting to see what different foods they have.

Do you have a festival specific routine, or is it just like any other indoor gig? No not really. We have a pretty consistent gig routine which has worked really well for us over the last couple of years. It's hard to change a winning formula.

What appeals most about smaller, community-driven festivals like Sunlit Sounds? For us it's the location. Members Lawson and Connor are both local Ashgrove/The Gap boys and another member Chase has just moved into the area. So it will be good to play a show in our local area.

What time are you playing the festival? Port Royal will be hitting the stage at 2.30pm.
