Prepare yourself for some psych rock goodness with this track.

Golden Age Of Ballooning have certainly been busy. It was just November last year when they released their EP, Illusion Of Control, and now the group have a brand new track to drop, Savage Mountain, which theMusic.com.au is proud to be premiering today.

The Brisbane group have drawn inspiration from a tragic event for the track; the accounts of those involved in the worst mountaineering disaster seen, which occured on the K2 (the world's second highest mountain) in 2008.

The track was recorded by Konstantin Kersting (The Belligerents, Mallrat) and mixed by Matt Redlich (Ball Park Music, Holy Holy), and will see the band head out on tour throughout the next few months.

Check out the song track above and theGuide below for where and when to catch them.
