Single title? Letters To Alice

What's the song about? "Alice" I suppose is an analogy to certain substances that can make you think and feel things you usually can't.

How long did it take to write/record? The writing process didn't take too long; Mike wrote the music for it one night and then brought it to me and I wrote the lyrics. The recording took about three days in total.

Is this track from a forthcoming release/existing release? We hope to release Letters To Alice on an EP later on down the track, but for now it's a standalone single.

What was inspiring you during the song's writing and recording? I guess we were listening to a lot of Britpop at that point, it feels like Oasis and The Stone Roses may have been crawling in our ears at the time.

We'll like this song if we like... Temples, Jacco Gardner, Tame Impala.

Do you play it differently live? We play it very similarly live still, the majority of the crazy sounds in the recording are played through a trigger pad by our drummer Mitch.

When and where is your launch/next gig? The single launch will be at Rosemount Hotel on 21 Aug with supports Buddy Phoenix, The Spunloves and Moana.
