Best record you stole from your folks’ collection? Probably my grandfather's copy of Joni Mitchell's Hejira - Dad still hoards his copy of XTC's English Settlement.
First record you bought? First CD was AC/DC's Ballbreaker with $20 I got for my 5th Birthday. First vinyl record I bought was Dirty Three's Horse Stories (both albums are solid four stars).
Record you put on when you’re really miserable? This could be a really long list. Talk Talk - Laughing Stock, Songs: Ohia - Magnolia Electric Co., Bobby D - Blood On The Tracks, Cat Power - Moon Pix, Miles Davis - Someday My Prince Will Come.
Record you put on when you bring someone home? Prince - anything from the '80s. Guaranteed good time, wink face.
Most surprising record in your collection? Probably The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy radio play or Chevy Chase's solo record, a comedy record with no jokes.
Last thing you bought/downloaded? Last batch of records I found at the op-shop included a US pressing of Radio Birdman - Radios Appear! Sick!
When and where are your next gigs? Oh, heaps! Playing the North Freo Pub Crawl on Jan 21, Valentine's Day at Mojo's for Boat Show and Last Quokka's dual single launch, Hyperfest on Feb 18 during the day and then A Dog Day Afternoon at the Carine that night! We're releasing a record you can add to your collections soon, too!
