More Kaiser Chiefs More Kaiser Chiefs

Groovin the Moo (2012)

The gigs were great, and I was on a plane next to Flavor Flav, who was asleep with his clock around his neck. Perfect. At the Maitland gig, Ricky and Peanut went on a human catapult mid-set.

Glastonbury (2005)

It was our first Glastonbury. We played the main stage on Saturday afternoon. It was one of the first festivals we played after Employment came out, and everyone suddenly knew the words.

SXSW (2005)

One of our first trips to America. We spent three days in Austin, hanging out with some of our favourite artists and playing some fun shows.

Lollapalooza (2013)

VJ’s first festival with the band. It was absolutely massive. I think he thought every gig was going to be 50,000 people.

Latitude 21

This was our first festival after Covid, with no masks, and everyone singing along. It felt like everything was going to be ok again.
