Hometown: Glebe, Sydney

Short description of your band and your music: We're a bunch of mates from Sydney's Inner West who have been playing fuzzy garage-rock together for three years.

Has the party side of the music industry been all you were hoping for so far in your career? They party side? We normally head home after gigs for soft cheese and a glass of Pinot. Hopefully we make the last 30 mins of Miss Marple. 

What is the best thing that's happened to you/your band so far? Supporting Courtney Barnett at a sold-out Metro was amazing. Also shows with The Delta Riggs, Northeast Party House and Catfish & The Bottlemen were ripper. Getting selected to play BIGSOUND 2015 was rad too. 

Are your ambitions mainly artistic or commercial? We love writing music and we love playing live. Hopefully keeping it fun leads to creating some rad shit that people will like.

Is your music best rendered in the studio or the live realm? When we record we do the majority live to tape to make sure we capture our live sound. It's obviously quite stressful in the studio so we'd prefer to be out onstage.

If you could have any act past or present join you on your next tour who would you tap? I'd like to do a tour with The Meanies. They rule and I think it works having two bands from different decades touring together. Cosmic Psychos and Dune Rats tour was a great idea.

What industry lessons would you like to take away from the BIGSOUND conference? How to be a more professional band maybe? Suits and ties? Keen to check out a few speakers too — interested in the overseas market. 

What acts are you looking forward to checking out at the BIGSOUND showcase? The Pretty Littles, Babaganouj, Polish Club, Born Lion, Methyl Ethel, Crepes, Dorsal Fins, Green Buzzard, Cosmic Psychos, The Snowdroppers, The Belligerents. So many fucking great bands.   

Why should people come and see you from amongst the many cool bands at BIGSOUND? We're gonna have fun, play some loud fun songs so I'm sure you'll have fun. Fun. FUN!
