Give us a short description your music: Bittersweet, lo-fi folk. Harmonies. Warm guitar tones. Silvery vocals and virtuosic strings, all creating melodramatic moments of mirth.

What is the best thing that's happened to you/your band so far? So many things! So many tiny triumphs and little moments of luck that add up to a ten-year career in the music biz. But who knows, tonight might be the best night of our lives...

Has the party side of the music industry been all you were hoping for so far in your career? Pretty much. The parties at folk festivals are pretty epic. A lot of fiddles and caffeine free tea.

What industry lessons would you like to take away from the BIGSOUND conference? I'm going to immerse myself in the music. I'm going to learn from the best, watching every stage move and listening to every howl, moan, solo and key change. It's like school but awesome.

What acts are you looking forward to checking out at the BIGSOUND showcase? Kira Puru, Lanks, Ainslie Wills and Gabriella Cohen.

Why should people come and see you from amongst the many cool bands at BIGSOUND? We really love playing live. It's kind of our natural habitat. We put a lot of love and sweat into our shows. Well, as much sweat as a folk band can muster. We will intoxicate.

When and where is your BIGSOUND showcase? 8 Sep, Black Bear Lodge.
