Dan The Man is opening up a Texas-style BBQ night dubbed 'Up In Smoke' which will light up the first Friday of every month, kicking off Friday 5 August at The Field at Eastern Suburbs Rugby Club.

He's using the tips and tricks of the trade learned under the eye of Brooklyn pitmaster Nestor Laracuente, using his range of dry rubs for the event. Meat platters consist of slow-smoked, Texas-style beef brisket, pulled pork and a rotating selection of meats including beef sausage, pork ribs and chicken wings.
